JONES PARK ASSOCIATION

The JONES PARK ASSOCIATION is a local Jersey City community group advocating for the betterment, and long-term health, of the Enos Jones Park Neighborhood in Jersey City.

NEWS AND UPDATES

Enos Jones Park Redevelopment Plan

Our group has been working with the City and local developers for nearly two years as they create a Redevelopment Plan for the Enos Jones Park Area. As we've all experienced, there is much construction already underway, with other sites getting approval from the City.

Despite this, the plan will be a key vehicle in ensuring more thoughtful development on the open lots that remain, and more importantly, creating a significant opportunity for funds to be committed to the renovation of Enos Jones Park.

These potential funds can be added to the pledges we've already received and truly allow the park to thrive. To date we've secured pledge agreements totaling $200,000 from developers building in our community.

It's our hope that this RDP presents an opportunity for all the groups within the Enos Jones Park area to band together and work with the community and city to see Enos Jones Park become the kind of park that is the centerpiece of our neighborhood.
